TERMS OF SERVICE
PAYMENT:
We use the website payments system as well as PayPal as payment gateways.
Within the checkout you can find a variety of payment methods that might be compatible with your country and payment methods used around the world.
We do not have access at any time, to your cards used at checkout, nor we store any information regarding your banking account.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
You will get a message saying that your order was received within 24 hours of purchase.
The items will be shipped between 1-5 business days depending on the time it takes to make them, after receiving payment unless otherwise notified by us.
Exceptions can be made during vacations periods. In this specific case, items will be made and dispatched the first available day after the vacation period.
We will gladly ship straight to a “giftee” as well as include a personal note if and when requested. You just need to leave us a message at info@ineslamy.com
If you have any special requests, please contact us before you place your order, or as soon as possible. We cannot honor requests that were not discussed and agreed before you place your order.
When we have sent your order, you will be notified that the order has been shipped with the tracking number associated with it, as well as the site available to track your package, according to the shipping method of choice.
The price paid for the shipping is included at the end of the purchase and it includes the price for the shipping as well as the handling and packaging used.
Your purchase will be shipped to the ADDRESS you have provided.
Please verify that your shipping address is correct when you make your purchase. If the item is returned to us by the postal services because of an incorrect address or unclaimed package, the buyer is responsible for the original shipping fees and the shipping fees to resend the item.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Inês Lamy is not responsible for delays due to customs, or any custom tax fee applied.
SHIPPING TIMES:
While orders generally arrive within the estimated time of arrival, we leave up to 2 weeks for the item to arrive, for domestic delivery and, up to 4-6 weeks for international delivery, before filling a claim for lost package.
Take into consideration that during holidays, special seasons and other special occasions and according to each country, shipping times may increase, due to post office unpredictable work.
Priority Upgrades are recommended to ensure faster delivery times if you need your items within a schedule.
Still, we cannot guarantee that it will arrive by the time expected, as it will depend on the carrier.

Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 10-30 business days

We cannot guarantee the estimated delivery times. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose and the postal services workload.
CUSTOMS & EXTRA TAXES
Many international shipments might incur duties and customs charges. All customs fees, import duties, processing fees, taxes, tariffs, etc. are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These fees are not included in your shipping charges. Check with your customs office for specifications.
If an order is returned to us because you did not pay the above-mentioned fees, we will refund you the cost of the item(s) (unless it was a personalized item which is non-refundable) but not the cost of shipping or any customs import fees paid, plus 5% on restocking fee.
POLICY & PRIVACY SETTINGS
CANCELLATIONS
Any item that is MADE TO ORDER, CUSTOM, or PERSONALIZED cannot be returned, or refunded due to the nature of the item. The items are handmade in very small series and they are produced when the customer places an order.
When shopping with us, please be conscious about your purchase in order to ensure a more sustainable way of living and non-waste policy.
According to the EU law the nature of made to order, customized and personalized items, as well as perishable and any pierce earring, contact with skin or body fluids are NON returnable and NON refundable.
Please refer to Right of Withdrawal policy bellow.
Exceptions can be made according to each individual case, if you contact us explaining your problem.
In the event you get a refund, this shop reserves the right to refund the total amount paid for the item, minus the shipping cost, minus 5% of restocking fee, if the item was well received in return and in the same condition it was sent. If you have had free shipping, the shipping paid will be subtracted from the total amount, since it is a third party cost.
In the event you place an order by accident, or no longer want the item, you will be refunded, if you contact us up to one hour of purchase and you will be charged a re-listing fee of 5% on the total amount of your order, minus taxes.
REFUNDS
We want our customers to be happy with their purchase and we do accept returns or refunds when you get a broken item or present a clear problem that cannot be fixed. For that, you need to provide us with clear evidence, pictures and details within 48 hours of receiving your package.
With custom and personalized items, we do NOT do refunds or returns, unless it presents a clear defect, other than the nature of the item itself, or it is visibly unfit to be warn. If there is something that is important to you in your piece, please describe it clearly before you place your order.
Reasons related to customs fees, shipping costs, or other stated fees are not refundable.
The ONLY circumstance that we are fully responsible for all expenses on the Return / Exchange is when we have sent you an incorrect item. We will provide you with convenient shipping options to return the item to us at our cost, in the original condition that it was received by you, and we will send you the correct item.
If you are not sure about an item before purchasing, please ask all necessary questions or ask for additional photos or information.
We accept cancellations within 24 hours ONLY if the order has not been prepared and shipped already.
Some specific items are ready to ship and can be prepared on the same day upon order placement, so for cancellations you must contact us within 12 hours after purchase.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you buy a product or service online, by phone or from a seller at your doorstep (in legal terms a “distance contract” or “off-premises contract”) you have the right to withdraw. This means you can cancel the contract within 14 days without providing any justification (the "cooling-off period"). For goods this means 14 days from the date of delivery, for services 14 days after the day the contract was agreed. If the cooling-off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended until the next working day.
Ines Lamy boutique falls into the exceptions, since every item is handmade to order, as listed in the exceptions bellow.
EXCEPTIONS
Please note: the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to:
- plane and train tickets, as well as concert tickets, hotel bookings, car rental reservations and catering services for specific dates
- perishable goods that expire rapidly, such as food or drinks with a short “use by” date
- goods MADE TO ORDER or clearly PERSONALIZED
- goods or services with fluctuating prices following global markets, such as household heating fuel
- fully delivered services, such as cleaning a terrace, if you expressly agreed to start immediately acknowledging you would lose the right of withdrawal
- sealed audio, video or computer software, such as DVDs, that you have unsealed
- online digital content, such as a song or movie, that you started downloading or streaming after you expressly agreed to lose your right of withdrawal by starting the performance
- urgent repairs and maintenance contracts, such as inviting a plumber to repair a leaking shower

This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through ineslamy.com or its related sites and services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including the website host, the transportation system or any third-party services you access through ineslamy.com.

To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information (which you authorized ineslamy.com to provide to us), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you are ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a custom order of jewelry, for example), if you contact us directly.

Website host. We share information with Shopify as necessary to provide you with our services and comply with our obligations under both the Shop Policies and Terms of Use.
Service providers. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to our shop, such as delivery companies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Business transfers. If we sell or merge the business, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Combined Shipping Policy:
We combine shipments for customers purchasing more than one item. Usually there is a price for all orders. Sometimes we may not be able to combine items in one shipment, due to size and weight differences or other considerations. Naturally, we accommodate a delicate and small piece in a package with a potentially larger and heavier piece in a way to prevent them from getting damaged.
In rare circumstances, we can send different packages if needed, but you will be notified. We reserve the right to make this decision in the best interest of all concerned.
Shipping costs are not only the actual value of the postage paid to the post office but are also partially covering our cost to deliver your items to you including materials such as bubble mailers, bubble wrap, printer ink, paper, packing tape, fees, and more. The cost of the item is what we would charge for the item itself if someone were to buy it from us in person.
JEWELRY CARE AND LONGEVITY
Inês Lamy designs is considered custom artisanal jewelry, hand made from a variety of materials, such as and not limited to: wood, cork, paper, polymer clay, varnish, ceramic clay, sterling silver, steel, plated metals, crystals and semi-precious stones, wicker, resin, natural flowers and other materials.
Unlike fine gold jewelry, these pieces can wear down over time, especially if worn often, or inappropriately, tarnish, damage or darken.
By purchasing you acknowledge the nature of these products.
Following these practices will improve the lifespan of your pieces:
- Keep items away from water and steam. Especially avoid showering or swimming with them.
- Avoid contact with perfumes and lotions as these can wear down the finishes on some pieces.
- Use a soft dry cloth to wipe pieces clean, especially if in contact with skin and natural oils.
- Store items in a safe, dry place out of the sunlight.

However, the tile design might slightly vary in placement and the image may be slightly different from the ones in the pictures. Nonetheless to stay true and faithful to each design, the pattern is exactly the one seen in the picture, but the tiles placement on each piece of jewelry might vary.
We reserve the right to update the pictures and upgrade the design (either for a more qualitative metal, or finish, either for an update of the pattern tone, or size) to better represent the item listed at sale.
We also reserve the rights to delete, update, promote and increase pricing according to the laws of independent commerce and pricing strategies.
➡ Colors might slightly vary from the picture, due to color screen variations. But blue will always be blue, and gold will always be gold, for example.
➡ Also note that "tile" is a universal term used to describe the use of the tile pattern.
Most tile jewelry is not made of actual stone tile. Most tiles are instead a mix of techniques and materials blend to get a similar finish look of a tile. When we use the term "tile" in our listings we are referring to the looks and aesthetics category and we are not describing the tiles themselves as pure stone.
We do not use plastic in miniature tiles, nor in hoops for example. The only “plastic” you might have will be when the material used is polymer clay, which is technically a derivate of plastic.
We might use polymer clay, other ceramics, other wood or even cork, or plaster to make tile jewelry, but in the event, we use stone to make these mini tiles, it will be mentioned in the description and materials used.
